Gap Insurance
Anyone who drives a vehicle that it is leased or financed should have a gap insurance policy. Why? All vehicles after a short while are worth less than what the consumer owes the bank or the financial institution.
Should the vehicle get totaled or stolen, the insurance company will only pay the fair market value and not the amount owed to the bank. This is when the “Gap” Insurance comes into play. It will fill in the gap that it is left by the fair marker value of the vehicle and the amount owed to the bank.
In many cases that amount can be thousands of dollars. “Gap” Insurance can be paid in full or can be financed and included in the deal of the vehicle.

Car Insurance for new and used cars
Insurance companies are across the board and with any vehicle purchase, it is imperative to insure your new car. Not having insurance in this day and age is an irresponsible act and should the unforeseen occur, it’s nice to know you are covered.
Owning the right type of insurance is important as there are many different types of insurance out there. All the facts are considered from your age; to how much you drive the car to have you had any prior accidents. Researching the insurance companies from the internet is the easiest way to sift through the hundreds of insurers.
Be sure to get at least three different quotes from insurance companies to help you along with this. Shopping by price isn’t always best either as you want an insurance policy that isn’t just affordable, but workable. Taking out the cheapest insurance there is will not necessarily be the best policy to suit your driving needs.

Car Finance for new and used cars
With many finance operators out there ready and willing to give you loans for your car purchase, it’s no wonder it all gets a little overwhelming at times. Many car finance operators offer competitive finance and insurance options.
They are reasonable everyday people wanting to help you gain the lifestyle you require with a car while they seek out the loan best suitable for you. Finance through a car dealership is ideal for those people who don’t have enough income to save to get their own car or have had a poor credit history and are unable to get a loan.
Another way of gaining finance for your vehicle is to get a personal loan through a bank provider. Personal loans can be anywhere between about $2,000 and $50,000 depending on what type of car you are purchasing. Although the higher the amount you wish to loan would require a higher deposit figure before the loan would be approved.
Many banks offer a competitive interest rate for the life of the loan. And they also have no ongoing fees attached. Once approved, the money is deposited into your bank account you provide and the money can be in there as soon as 24 hours.

Daimler Chrysler SL 55 AMG
DaimlerChrysler has unveiled the new SL 55 AMG, currently the most powerful of all Mercedes passenger cars. Beneath the bonnet of the exclusive top-of-the-range roadster lies a newly developed supercharged V8 developing 476 hp. The powerplant provides its maximum torque of 516 lb/ft from just 2,650 rpm—a new record for V8 sports cars. The SL 55 AMG accelerates from 0 to 60 in just 4.2 seconds and could theoretically hit a top speed of 203 mph—if a passenger car tire could be found to handle the loads involved.
The impressive zoom is due to a newly developed belt-driven supercharger that generates about 30 percent more charge pressure than other comparable belt-driven supercharging systems. Rotating at over 25,000 rpm, the compressor’s aluminum rotors press some 1,600 kilograms of air per hour into the combustion chambers. The screw-type compressor is connected to the crankshaft by means of an electromagnetic clutch and a separate poly-V-belt, enabling it to spontaneously react when the driver presses the accelerator and provide powerful thrust at engine speeds barely above idling speed.
Further special technical features include the fuel system which, for the first time in a Mercedes-Benz, is controlled by a computer. This ensures that the right amount of fuel is delivered, depending on the engine speed and load. A sophisticated exhaust system with ceramic firewall...

Dodge 1500 Quad Cab 4x4
It’s hard not to love the new Dodge 1500 Quad Cab 4×4. All new, it looks great, works well, and, more than ever, appeals to the latent big-rig driver in us all. At the same time, it sets new thresholds for room, performance and refinement in the full-size pickup class.
To start out, a body redesign makes the previous Ram look like it took some steroids to bulk up. It also features a new, stiffer hydroformed frame, new rack and pinion steering (which replaces the recirculating ball type), a new independent torsion bar front suspension on 4×4 models, and new standard four-wheel disc brakes with standard rear ABS and optional four wheel ABS (replacing front disc/rear drums).
Part of the big-truck look is due to larger standard 17-inch wheels, or some great-looking optional 20-inch wheels on Sport models. This all adds up to more interior room, improved ride, handling, steering and braking, increased refinement; and more safety features, specifically improved front and rear crash zones and optional side curtain airbags.
It’s bigger all over, except in the truck bed, which has shrunk 3 inches (to 6 feet, 3 inches) to accommodate interior legroom (an 8-foot-plus long bed is still an option). The rear window is much taller, the windshield has a more pronounced rake, the big front grille is at least...

The Saturn L300
The Saturn L300 is the full-dress version of the company’s mid-sized sedan, in my humble opinion the value leader in this segment, and tragically, a car almost nobody buys. The company is desperately trying to grow out of its initial image of a somewhat quirky, consumer-friendly organization, a strategy that seems to have locked it into a box, as far as consumer perceptions are concerned.
There is a uniquely intelligent quality to the L300, immediately apparent the moment you get behind the wheel. The controls are intelligently laid out, and the power leather seats are firm and comfortable. Visibility is superior all around, and the ride is extremely quiet.
The trunk offers an impressive 17.5 cubic feet of space, nearly 3.5 cubic feet better than the Accord. And there is a full range of goodies available. Our black tester had foglamps, a sunroof, a rear spoiler, 16-inch chrome wheels, an in-dash six-disc changer, automatic climate control, the aforementioned power seats and full leather upholstery, OnStar, and for rear-seat passengers, the same DVD system offered in Chevy’s Venture Warner Bros. Minivan discussed above, complete with remote.
Power comes from a 3.0-liter, 182-hp, DOHC V6. The chassis could handle even more power, which would make the L300 a really fun ride. The four-speed automatic was one of the better boxes we’ve tested,...

Chevrolet's Venture 4WD
Let’s start with the minivan. The 4WD Warner Bros. Edition is the full-dress rendition of Chevrolet’s five-year-old Venture. The marketing alliance with Warner Brothers is one of Chevrolet’s deeper mysteries, but the big feature of this Venture is an LCD-screen DVD player (the player’s mounted near the floor between the front seats, with the 5.6-inch screen folding down from the roof), which can keep your kids entertained with Warner Brothers cartoons, or whatever. The second row has video camera/video game headphone inputs, and headphone inputs are also found in the third row. Each station has individual volume control.
Together with the premium stereo unit, you have multiple options for entertaining the brood or a bunch of your limited-attention-span buddies. This Venture also sported a full leather interior, side airbags for front passengers, keyless entry, air conditioning with both front and rear controls, OnStar, anti-lock brakes, nice alloy wheels, a rear wiper/washer, and power everything-including sliding rear doors on both sides that can be operated remotely from the key fob. (Personally, I was more entertained operating the doors than I was by any offerings emanating from the full-blown media delivery hardware.)
The Venture also has quite respectable performance for a minivan. The Warner Bros. Edition has an extended wheelbase over the base models, improving interior legroom and smoothing out ride dynamics....
